Senior Producer

AltspaceVR is the leading platform for live mixed reality experiences, offering cross-device live immersive virtual experiences using Microsoft’s Mixed Reality technologies (HoloLens, Holocapture, Azure Kinect) to emulate presence and connection, while building and fostering community. As a  Senior Producer, you will help us deliver the next wave of virtual events and experiences. The Hybrid Producer manages the production of virtual and in-person events is responsible for project managing the various live streaming components from holoportation into video out of these events. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual who is comfortable interfacing with partners under fast-paced, time-critical situations and has excellent troubleshooting abilities. This position will require travel related to events.

Responsibilities

• Build successful partner relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Produce a variety of virtual, hybrid and in-person events, using Microsoft Mixed Reality technologies as well a wide array of broadcast platforms.  
• Manage technical arrangements with internal and external teams, including testing, rehearsals, offsite production and more. 
• Consistently meet project timelines and deliver flawless multimedia events. 
• Keep all project stakeholders informed throughout project life cycle: pre-event, during-event, and post-event. 
• Troubleshoot technical problems before/during/after the event. 
• Quickly solve problems and make quick decisions during the production of live events. 
• Educate partners on AltspaceVR’s technologies and services. 
• Continue to improve and evolve AltspaceVR’s production capabilities. 

Qualifications

Eligible to work from anywhere in the US

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of work experience in live event production.  
• 2+ year working in virtual event production. 
• 3+  years of experience in developing and managing event budgets and expenses. 
• 3+ years of experience  in producing consumer events

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated organizational,planning, management,   communication skills with customers/teams
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and navigate through unexpected roadblocks. 
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Experience working in Virtual or Augmented Reality. 
• Proactive project management and cross-functional communication 
• Strong relationship management skills.

• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and navigate through unexpected roadblocks. 
• Knowledge of basic audio/video and computer technical solutions and troubleshooting techniques. 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:  Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
