About the Role
As the Head of Crypto Media, you will report to the CEO in a fast-paced and creative environment. You’ll develop and lead the company’s strategy as it relates to all things Web3.
What You’ll Do
Lead Invisible Universe’s Web3 strategy for existing franchises, including but not limited to efforts related to NFTs, social tokens, and DAOs.
Build relationships with strategic partners (DAOs, artists, engineers) who can help the company pursue Web3 related initiatives.
Manage communities formed around Invisible Universe’s Web3 efforts (e.g. Discord, Twitter etc.) including hiring a team of CMs and providing oversight and management to that team across all web3 opportunities.
Develop a long term strategy for launching new, “Web3 first” franchises with top tier talent partners.
Educate the team on evolving developments and trends in Web3 and act as the resident expert on new and interesting NFT projects, especially as they relate to innovation around community building and storytelling.
Lead the experimentation around how Web3 can tie into our current content strategy in innovative ways, including but not limited to thinking about how physical, consumer products can tie into digital experiences. that provide ownership for the fans of any given franchise.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
You have 3-5 years work experience. A bonus if you’ve come from a community management role at internet platforms or if you have experience working in Web3.
You are excited about an opportunity where you will be afforded tremendous freedom and responsibility to be curious and innovative around a new business model.
You are an early adopter of all things Web3, especially NFTs.
You spend time on Twitter and Discord engaging with communities.
You have excellent creative instincts and also know how to prioritize and execute in an incredibly fast-paced environment.
You love storytelling and cartoons in particular, and want to be a part of defining the future of storytelling in Web3 (along with community ownership and participating!).
